This is the first post in quite a while. In the interim I have moved from Dublin to Vancouver. Before I left I was brought by some friends to see the unfortunately named Horse Feathers, downstairs in the Academy. Despite being in one of the worst venues around, the band blew me away. Hailing from Portland, they are part of a rich folk scene happening there at the moment. Currently, the band are in the studio mixing a new album.
